About the Chamber
In 2016 Dr. Carlos Sanchez joined a major Chamber of Commerce in the North Houston area, and was ignored by the staff - until renewal time came around. He then joined another Chamber, as he knew of their value to Small Business, and once again was disappointed.
He decided then to start a Chamber of Commerce to give business owners attention, targeted education and business connections. That is how the Texas Gulf Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was born. On the idea that business owners join because they need visibility - and most Chambers fail to provide it - unless they pay for 'higher membership levels.'
The Texas Gulf Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has grown since 2016 when it began - to over 500 members of different sizes and backgrounds.
A 501 c(6) the Chamber is proud to be mobile, grass roots and in different locations in the Houston area. The Woodlands/Conroe to Spring, Vintage, Katy and the Galleria, the Chamber serves its members through events, training and networking.
